Amy Yee

Amy Yee is an award-winning journalist who has written for New York Times, The Economist, NPR and more than 30 other media outlets. She is a former Financial Times staff reporter based in New York and New Delhi. Amy focuses on solutions to social problems and marginalized communities. She has reported from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and 10 countries in Africa. Amy has won awards from UN Correspondents Association three times; South Asian Journalism Association awards four times; top prize from Association of Healthcare Journalists for analysis about preventing child deaths in Bangladesh and India; and honorable mention from Society of Environmental Journalists for climate solutions reporting.
